The client wanted to develop a dedicated pickleball court within an existing covered sports area. The requirement was for a durable, non-slip playing surface with clear court markings, suitable lighting and a proper net system. The client also wanted a clean, professional finish with minimum maintenance and comfortable playing conditions throughout the year.
The project involved working within an existing steel-roofed enclosure with fixed columns and limited space around the playing area. The main challenge was to prepare a level and even surface, maintain the correct court dimensions and ensure proper finishing around the edges. The existing structure and surrounding walls also had to be considered during the flooring and installation work.
Decospaa Sports planned the court layout and carried out the flooring work in stages, starting with surface preparation and levelling. A non-slip acrylic sports flooring system was applied using a combination of dark blue and light blue for the playing area, with green flooring around the perimeter.
White court markings were added for clear visibility, followed by installation of the pickleball net system. The court was finished to provide a consistent playing surface while making use of the existing covered structure.

The existing space was transformed into a dedicated pickleball court with a clean, professional appearance. The dual-tone blue flooring, green perimeter and white court markings give the playing area a distinct look.
The completed court provides a practical space for recreational pickleball, with a non-slip playing surface and the added benefit of an existing covered enclosure.
